Simone started her fashion design journey without worrying about where it may lead and where it may take her. She decided to study fashion out of a deep-seated frustration which grew from trying to find garments that enhanced the body and weren’t just from the ‘one style fits most’ mass production business model.
Her designs embody her fascination with cloth, her love of handcraft, and a deep understanding of the female form and how to enhance or accentuate it through tailoring and craftsmanship. This, coupled with her passion for slow fashion and a desire to design and produce garments here in Australia, fundamentally reaffirmed that producing more of what has already been done is simply not her aspiration. Instead, she continues to reimagine, and redesign fashion for all ages with a quiet confidence that she is doing what she is meant to be doing, embracing sustainability principles, and motivated by an unwavering belief that opportunity and success will follow. Simone characterises her signature style as couture with a vintage edge!
